DESCRIPTION:The Oliveira Lab is excited to host the Python for Bioengineers Workshop 2.0 as part of Oliveira Outreach\, an initiative dedicated to promoting science and education in biotechnology. \n\n\n\nThis one-day\, hybrid workshop introduces participants to applying Python to biological data and systems. Through hands-on sessions\, attendees will learn how to analyze\, interpret\, and work with data while building confidence in computational approaches. No prior programming experience is required. \n\n\n\nWhile the workshop is open to all interested participants\, undergraduate researchers in biomedical and related fields are especially encouraged to attend. \n\n\n\nHighlights:  \n\n\n\n• Intro to Python in biological research  \n\n\n\n• Hands-on coding with biological data  \n\n\n\n• Guest speaker Dr. Tianqi Song  \n\n\n\n• Talks from Oliveira Lab researchers  \n\n\n\n• Networking with Dr. Samuel Oliveira and the lab  \n\n\n\n• Exposure to research at the Joint School of Nanoscience & Nanoengineering (JSNN)
