Bio
- Dr. Abhijeet Mali is a Research Scientist at the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering. He earned his Ph.D. in Nanoengineering from North Carolina A&T State University at the Joint School for Nanoscience and Nanoengineering (JSNN) in 2024. He manages materials characterization and thermal analysis instruments, 3D printing systems, and the Materials Testing Center while supporting advanced materials research, process development, and characterization for multidisciplinary research projects.
Research INterests
- Dr. Abhijeet Mali’s research interests include nanomaterials, advanced polymers, sustainable bio-based materials, polymer nanocomposites, additive manufacturing, and phase change materials for automotive, aerospace, defense, and textile applications. Research focuses on developing high-performance, lightweight, and multifunctional materials with enhanced mechanical, thermal, and functional properties for next-generation engineering applications.
