Jerald Dumas is an associate professor in the Department of Nanoengineering at North Carolina A&T State University. His research focuses on the development of bioinspired polymeric materials for applications in the areas of biosensors, sustainability, and tissue engineering. Dr. Dumas received his B.S. in chemical engineering from Auburn University, received his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Vanderbilt University, and received postdoctoral experience form the Biomedical Engineering department at Georgia Tech/Emory University.
