Bio

• Dr. Marwan Sa’ed earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy from Jordan University of Science and Technology and his Ph.D. in Nanoscience from the University of North Carolina Greensboro at the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering (JSNN), where his research focused on developing nanotechnology-based strategies to combat antimicrobial resistance.
• Dr. Sa’ed is currently a Research Scientist at the the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering, where he develops innovative nanomaterial-based solutions for antimicrobial resistance and chemical detection. His research emphasizes the design and characterization of functional nanomaterials for biomedical and environmental applications, with the goal of translating fundamental discoveries into practical technologies that address critical healthcare and public health challenges.
