N.C. A&T, UNCG Name Chowdhury as Dean of JSNN

Following a comprehensive national search, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and UNC Greensboro are pleased to announce Masud H. Chowdhury, Ph.D., as the new dean of the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering (JSNN). Chowdhury, who also will serve as professor of nanoengineering, will assume the role Aug. 15.

Dr. Wei’s New Collaborative Grant

Congratulations to Prof. Jianjun Wei from the Department of Nanoscience for receiving a three-year grant from the National Science Foundation’s Chemical, Bioengineering, Environmental and Transport Systems (CBET) Division in the Engineering Directorate.

Grant from BioMADE- Dr. Daniel Herr

Congratulations to Dr. Daniel Herr on his collaboration with Forsyth Community College. Together they have secured a grant from BioMADE titled “Nanotechnology to Inspire the Next Generation of Skilled BioIndustry Workforce.” This project is supported by funds from the US Department of Defense (DOD).
