Requirements to Join:

The only requirements to join the Materials Research Society are to maintain a 3.0 GPA, stay in good standing with the university, and pay a yearly $10 membership fee. The membership funds future events for professional development of all members.

Chapter Benefits:

Chapter Rebate: Chapter will receive a rebate of $10 for every student member who is also a member of MRS.

Travel Support: Chapter is eligible for up to $500 per year in travel reimbursements to help student members attend MRS Spring and Fall Meetings.

Special Project Grants: Got an idea that will generate excitement among your chapter members? Apply for a grant through the MRS Special Projects Program.

Networking Opportunities: Connect with university chapter members from around the globe.

MRS OnDemand: View archived award talks, tutorials, technical sessions and more from MRS Spring and Fall Meetings.

Distinguished Speaker Support: Chapter is eligible for $150 annually in speaker support and may qualify for even more.
