NanoManufacturing Innovation Consortium (NIC).

The Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering announced its Nanomanufacturing Innovation Consortium with 15 founding members on 7/24/2013. The announcement was followed by a reception.

Miles C. Wright, CEO, Xanofi Inc, said: “By Joining NIC as a member I added 65 Million dollars of assets to my company.” He hired a Ph.D. scientist to work on R&D at JSNN, and in doing so, said that he is the first to create a job because of the NIC.

The founding 15 members ranged from small business, such as Engineered BioPharmaceutical to global corporations such as VF Jeanswear Limited Partnership and Syngenta, currently the NIC has 21 members with companies  headquartered in California, Virginia and North Carolina.

Our NIC members have access to over 175 equipment, among them a suite of microscopes Microscopy assets of JSNN 6-1-16
