Stem Entrepreneurship
The certificate in STEM Entrepreneurship is a program for any student who has an interest in learning how to establish or operate a business based on research and development in a STEM discipline. The certificate is open to any students who are interested in furthering their knowledge on technology transfer, commercialization, intellectual property, laws governing IP, marketing, and entrepreneurship.

Certificate Program Requirements:
Certificate Requirements: Total Credit Hours: 12 credits
Core Courses (6 Credit Hours): Select two (2) of the following
NANO 609: Entrepreneurship for Scientists, Technologists, Engineers, and Mathematicians
NANO 668: Technology Transfer and Commercialization
NANO 669: The Laws of Intellectual Property
Electives (6 Credit Hours): Select two (2) of the following courses
NANO 669: The Laws of Intellectual Property
MGMT 612: Foundations of Enterprise Management
MKTG 716: Strategic Marketing
NANO 796: Project
Students may take select to take other electives from N.C. A&T with approval from the advisor.
